"Oh what a night!" You know that tune!!

Ooooo weee! I can tell you that my head is reeling over last night's festivities. My birthday was this past Thursday, and so we celebrated last night. I can tell you it was a blast, and I believe if I was a couple years younger I'd probably do it again soon. Wow! I never thought I would say that, "If I was younger...", I am probably the most immature person in the Tri-county area. With that being said I am getting older but it is no excuse, I don't want to feel as if getting older is something bad. I feel like I'm getting older, but I retain the same disposition as always. Mr. Thompson said it best himself, “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!" Mr. Thompson never took life to seriously and age never stopped him. He spent his life living, not questioning. That is what I am here to do.After all a protege' must live up to his predecessor.

  1. haha, That was fun to read! I wanted to leave this quick comment about the two signs my mom has her fridge. One says, "If it walks out on it's own.. Let it go!" That one is on the side of the fridge because it only applies when we are all so busy we don't eat at home and our left overs get neglected and put to the back of the fridge. The second is HUGE and on the front of the fridege. It's the “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming 'Wow! What a Ride!'" She loves that quote and tells me it's a way of life for her.. Everyone should have a view on life..
